RSV-Pertusis

Call me paranoid.........

We took Grace for her 2 week check up and the doctor told us that he had sent a couple of kids to the ER just that week for RSV and told us to keep grace at home or just basically away from people. SO if we are socially absent this is why. We love this little girl SO SO SO much and are so proud of her and can't wait to get her out there and share her with everybody BUT..... The last thing i want is this little girl to get sick and end up in the hospital getting poked and suffering because we are excited to show her to everybody!!! so in the mean time i am going to just show her off in pictures. Please please please help us keep our little grace safe. If you have had a cough and it has lasted longer then the common cold you could possibly have pertusis--- this will put babies in the hospital.... so if you have been sick or feel even a tickle in your throat just hold off a little while and observe from the blog !!! Thank you so much ! once again call me paranoid but if my little angel got sick it would be my fault because i am supposed to keep her safe. It would break my heart if she got sick. So call me paranoid.......

Haili, BE paranoid! Little Benji had to be hospitilized for 12 days with a serious case of RSV. It was devestating for our family. These little ones are just TOO small to fight this off. Take every precaution and know that you are protecting your sweet little angel in the mean time! We will wish you well from a distance!!

Not paranoid, just smart!
You went through a whole lot to get that little girl here safely... I would do the same if my baby was born during cold/flu season!
She's quite the beauty ;)

You are just a normal Mom Haili... and sounds like you are doing your job. When I had Nash it was the end of October and I swear I didn't take him out until Spring! What a little doll Grace is!
